10. BUDGIE-BANDOLIER-1976
It’s just a pity that this band did not become famous or,
didn’t have much success as it deserved.
BUDGIE is a band from WALES and they realized many great
albums if you look back in the
Seventies,(BUDGIE-SQUAWK-IN FOR THE KILL-BANDOLIER)you
can describe their music Like funk-hard rock, with guitar riffs from Tony Bourge which maybe reminds you a bit of BLACK SABBATH, and also for sure you will be
impressed by the thin and almost femaleVoice of the founder (also singer and bassist) Burke
Shelley .All these reasons are who makes this trio different from many others
rock bands, after some years (80”s until now)and with many changes in their
line up ,BUDGIE change their orientation,
and decided to follow more HEAVY METAL paths
But this is another story…

9. BLACKFOOT-STRIKES 1979
When Rick Medlock decided to quit LYNYRD SKYNYRD
before their debut album
He was sure that he would make it, the recipe
was simple and well knowing for him. .true love for country music, two guitars
who sound like birds who singing and many dirty stories from southern America.
.BLACKFOOT, together with the huge success at the same time for bands like
BLACK OAK ARKANSAS and OUTLAWS put southern rock music in every house, and make
a lot of people love this kind of music also all the big festivals wanted them
to play live for them. HIGHWAY SONG album’s final track is Medlock’s answer to
their bodies (LYNYRD SKYNYRD) for free bird, well done Rick.

8. DIAMOND HEAD-WHITE ALBUM (LIGHTNING TO THE
NATIONS) 1980
The new wave of British heavy metal begun somewhere
there in the late of seventies,
The audience needs something more heavily to hear back
then and Diamond Head together
with DEF LEPPARD, TYGERS OF PAN TANG and SAXON decided
to give them what
they wanted. WHITE ALBUM is so electric who can raise
a dead man from his grave,
this band from ENGLAND spreads his energy to everyone
after the release of the album and be influence for many bands in the near future,
like METALLICA for example and many more, and I am sure that James Hetcfield
was sleeping with the a poster of
diamond head beyond his bed ,while he was dreaming METALLICA"S
BLACK ALBUM.

7. DEEP PURPLE-STORM BRINGER 1976
Maybe some people will be surprised with this choice
,because specially in seventies release many
great albums like IN ROCK, MACHINE HEAD or BURN,
but mk’s3 second album and last with Ritchie Blackmore on guitar(until the
next time)has tracks for all kind of ears, classic guitar riffs from Blackmore
on GYPSY and STORM BRINGER ,funky rhythms together with the powerful voice of
Glenn Hughes (this guy hides a Black man"s voice inside him for sure)on HOLY MAN and HOLD ON, and of course nothing would be
the same without the smoothly voice of David Coverdale, while you hearing him
singing SOLDIER OF FORTUNE on the last track of the album.

6. THE CLASH-LONDON’S CALLING
What can you say about this album...? Words seems so
few if you want to describe this music explosion
From CLASH back
in the late seventies. The third and most successful album of the band offers you
a
Cocktail of nineteen little bombs for all tastes. Jazz, rockabilly,
soul, funk, reggae, pop, ska, and hip -hop, and
all these from a punk rock band, Joe Strummer's music
talent went punk one step further and made the
People listen to it. Here we meet the need of STRUMMER
to express his worries about the unemployment in U.K., drugs,
Nuclear disasters and many more. LONDON CALLING is
widely regarded as one of the greatest albums
Of all time, and if though missing from your
collection it is a really crime.

together on the streets of art and who knows

5.THE GREENHORNES -THERE IS AN END
KASABIAN-VELOCIRAPTOR
LET"S ROCK LIKE WE USED TO...Kasabian"s forth album is something that many people expect,after the huge success of their previous album
West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum,the expectations
were very high from the fans of the band and they have done very good job once again.The group from Leicester has many stories to tell us and Velociraptor makes you wanna hear it from the start till the end
and over again.Here on this album you can find some
of the classic Kasabian sound,that every fan of the band can smell from miles away, in songs like RE-WIRED or DAYS ARE FORGOTTEN,but other
than that we know and love at them they try to surprise us with some unusual choices trying to change their music style a bit and go one step forward adding some
electro-pop(I HEAR VOICES) and ethnic touches in their music.The track that stands out for me is TURKISH BATH(Shelter from the storm)which reminds me Led Zeppelin"s Kashmir a bit..
Also two of the the best songs of the album you will hear it on London Boulevard soundtrack
(Muse,Def leppard)when a rock band experimenting with their sound.
I think that this is the price you have to pay if you want to be a rock and roll star.
